Proposed: Program with Dealer Admin

Programming

DMP panels do not require an external programmer. You can program through a DMP alphanumeric keypad, Dealer Admin, Tech APP, and Remote Link. Refer to the XR programming guide for more information. In this section, you will learn how to program an XR panel with Dealer Admin.

Programming Categories

The following section contains descriptions of each category in Programming.

  • Communication: Choose how the system communicates and modify communication settings.

  • Network Options: Program the system’s network connection settings, such as the Local IP Address.

  • Messaging Setup: Enable messaging for the system. This feature is not supported for panels with Version 202 or higher firmware.

  • Device Setup: Select Add Device and enter the device’s information. You can also delete existing devices.

  • Remote Options: Modify how the system interacts with the Virtual Keypad App, Remote Link, and Entré.

  • System Reports: Determine which reports the system will generate. Additionally, you can enter the Late to Open and Early to Close times.

  • System Options: Modify various settings for a system, such as the system arming type, entry and exit delays, bypass settings, time settings, and more.

Connect Communication

In order to program your panel from Dealer Admin, you must connect the Ethernet cable from the LAN/WAN connection to the Ethernet port. This will establish Network as the communication type.

Sign In to Dealer Admin

  1. Go to dealer.securecomwireless.com. Enter your email and password, then press sign in.

Add a Customer

  1. At Customers, select the Plus icon.

  2. Enter the customer’s name and email.

  3. Enter the customer’s contact information.

  4. Press Save.

Add a System

  1. At the Customer Summary menu, select the Plus icon next to Systems to add a system.

  2. Enter a System Name and select a System Type.

  3. Select the Connection Type.

  4. Enter an Account Number.

  5. Enter the panel’s Serial Number.

  6. If applicable, enter the panel’s Remote Key.

  7. If applicable, toggle Enable Virtual Keypad & Website Services.

  8. If applicable, toggle any additional features.

  9. Select Save.

Programming Menu

  1. Select Programming.

Add a Communication Path

  1. Select Add Communication Path.

  2. Enter in 1 for Communication Path.

  3. Select the Communication Type.

  4. Adjust additional options as needed.

Add a Keypad

  1. Go to Device Setup.

  2. Select Add Device.

  3. Enter 1 as the Device Number.

  4. Enter in the Device Name.

  5. Select Keypad in Device Type.

  6. Adjust additional options as needed.

Add a 734 Interface Module

  1. Go to Device Setup.

  2. Select Add Device.

  3. Enter 2 as the Device Number.

  4. Enter in the Device Name.

  5. Select Door in Device Type.

  6. In Card Options, choose a protocol for this door’s readers: DMP, Custom, or Any.

  7. Adjust additional options as needed.

Configure System Options

  1. Go to System Options.

  2. Select the System Type.

  3. At Hours From GMT, enter in the hours from GMT for your location.

  4. At Wireless House Code, enter a house code from 1-50.

  5. At Weather Zip Code, enter a local ZIP code to display weather alerts on the keypad.

Add an Area

  1. Go to Area Information.

  2. Select Add Area.

  3. Enter an Area Number and an Area Name.

  4. Adjust additional options as needed.

Add a Wireless Zone

  1. Go to Zone Information.

  2. Select Add Zone.

  3. Enter a Zone Number and a Zone Name.

  4. Select the Zone Type.

  5. Select the Area the zone is assigned to.

  6. Toggle DMP Wireless.

  7. Enter the Serial Number.

  8. Adjust additional options as needed.

Add a Wired Zone

  1. Go to Zone Information.

  2. Select Add Zone.

  3. Enter a Zone Number and a Zone Name.

  4. Select the Zone Type.

  5. Select the Area the zone is assigned to.

  6. Adjust additional options as needed.

  7. Select Send to Panel.

Survey LED

  1. Perform Survey LED Test from each transmitter mounting location.

  2. Adjust location as necessary.

Communication Test

  1. Go to System Tests.

  2. Go to the Communication Test tab and select the test you would like to run.

  3. Select Start Test.

Standard Walk Test

  1. Go to System Tests.

  2. Go to the Standard Walk Test tab.

  3. Select Start Test.

Wireless Test

  1. Go to System Tests.

  2. Go to the Wireless Test tab.

  3. Select Start Test.

Create a Profile

  1. Go to Profiles and select the Plus icon.

  2. Enter the Profile Name and Profile Number.

  3. Under Options, select all options this profile should have authority to access.

  4. Adjust additional options as needed.

Add a User Code with PIN

  1. Go to User Codes and select the Plus icon.

  2. Enter a User Name and User Number.

    • Select Next Available Number to automatically apply the next available User Code.

  3. Select Code under Credential Type.

  4. Enter a User Code.

  5. Select all Profiles for this User.

  6. Adjust additional options as needed.

  7. Select Send.

Add a User Code with Card

  1. Go to User Codes and select the Plus icon.

  2. Enter a User Name and User Number.

    • Select Next Available Number to automatically apply the next available User Code.

  3. Select Card under Credential Type.

  4. Enter a Card Number.

  5. Select all Profiles for this User.

  6. Adjust additional options as needed.

  7. Select Send.

Select the System Type

  1. Go to Programming.

  2. Go to System Options.

  3. Under System Type, select the system type for this customer.

    • Options include Area, All/Perimeter, and Home/Sleep/Away.

  4. Select Send All Changes.

Create a Template

  1. Go to Programming.

  2. Select the More Options icon.

  3. Select Create Template from Programming.

  4. Enter a Template Name.

  5. Adjust additional Programming options as needed.

  6. Select Save Template.
